I see a bilateral congenital above elbow patient who is extremely
functional with a pair of body powered working arms with split hooks.
She is completely independent using a combination of her prostheses
(which she wears full time) and her feet.
She is now 46 years old and is beginning to experience problems with
wear and tear in many of her joints from over use. She is extremely
interested in getting in contact with other bilateral congenital above
elbow patients of a similar age to discuss experiences and the
increasing difficulties as she gets older.
Does anybody know any congenital bilateral above elbow patients who are
functional with prostheses who might be interested in contacting my
patient?
Thanks in advance
