Dear Colleagues,
An elderly client recently asked me to replace his year old silicone gel locking liners. They have very soft gel, 6mm anteriorly, tapering to 2mm posteriorly. The tan / beige nylon cover has seams running medially and laterally. There is a soft, opaque brown disk on the distal end that secures a round gold colored metal piece with eight holes; this holds the receptacle for the pin. There are no logos or manufacturer's marks on the liner except for three small 1/4 red slash marks at a shallow angle with a fourth vertical red slash mark below the three. These are on the anterior of the liner 4mm from the distal end. I have checked extensively to no avail. He is happy with his prosthesis, and states that he does not know who made it for him. Thanks in advance for your help.
Best wishes,
Robert J. Traut, CP
