Pediatric Manual Locking Knee Options
Hi-
Are there any other pediatric manual locking knees besides the Euro
International and Otto Bock 3R93?
I have a hip disarticulation patient that is currently using the Otto Bock
knee. Now matter how I adjust the tension on the release, it always seems a
bit funky and inconsistent. The patient has weak upper extremity strength
and has difficulty unlocking the knee. Perhaps it is the particular unit
itself in this case?
Also, I have never used the Euro International Knee. It looks almost exactly
like the Otto Bock knee from pictures I have seen. Is it essential the same
knee?
Thanks – Jeremy
