Thanks to all who replied. The overwhelming response was the DAW
Industries. I also received the suggestion to use lycra bike-type
shorts to achieve the same function, which I believe would work also.

Thanks again,

Hello List!

I have a patient who is a long-time trans-femoral prosthetic user that
is in search of a certain type of nylon sheath/garment. The purpose of
the sheath is to prevent chaffing from the posterior shelf, specifically
in a double wall suction socket with flexible inner socket. Patient
describes the sheath as being open ended with a drawstring at one end.
The sheath was slipped over the flexible inner socket and tied off about
mid-thigh. The proximal aspect of the sheath was then tucked into
proximal aspect of the inner flexible.

If anyone is familiar with such a garment I would like to know where to
get them.

Thank you for your time!
