Hello,
I've prepared a research paper for publication, but I'm not sure whether to
submit it to the JPO or P&O International. The topic is a new AFO design
that was developed through the use of anthropometrics, materials science,
biomechanics, and engineering analysis. The final results are clinically
relevant but theoretical in nature. I've been given different advice on
where to publish. One source suggests I submit to the JPO since that
publication will be most easily accessed by clinicians here in the U.S.
Others have suggested that an engineering related topic is better suited for
P&O International because it would have the benefit of being indexed on
Medline and therefore accessible to interested parties both inside and
outside the OandP field.
I'm leaning toward the latter but I appreciate any suggestions.
