Hello,

My name is Jiovanna Vera and I am a senior Bioengineering student attending University of the Pacific in Stockton, Ca. A group of classmates and I are working on making a pediatric prosthetic trainer for toddlers and children that use a body powered voluntary open or voluntary close prosthetic. It will be a trainer that is easily attached and removable so that the toddler can remove it when he/she has had sufficient training. The trainer will produce a sound that will serve as positive reinforcement to help the toddler know if he/she needs to supply more tension or less if they are apply too much. We have a pretty low budget and were wondering if there was any way you could donate a prosthetic of that sort or know of anyone who would be able to. It can be used or new, and we if there was a school discount we could maybe afford to purchase one. We would only need it for about 4 months and would be able to return it after. Thank you for your time.
