I know this is a common request but I have an obese transfemoral amputee
that weighs 350 lbs. The Doctor wants to use the least expensive
endoskeletal swing and stance knee because he is probably going to be a
level 2 ambulator. I know that Otto Bock recently increased the 3R80 to 320
lbs but that is a level 3 knee and priced more than the doctor wants to Rx.
I also know that Exoskeletal can be rated higher than 350lbs. Any
suggestions will be shared.
