Happy New Year!

Has anyone had any experience with patients having difficulty going
through airport security with a vacuum system? We have a patient who is
concerned that the motor and the remote might make him more of a target
for invasive inspection. He reports that he has been subjected to strip
searches with his conventional prosthesis despite physician
documentation regarding both his external prosthesis and internal
implants, and has no desire to make matters worse. Any experience you
may have, even anecdotal, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
