Dear list,
I have a right trans-tibial patient that has limited range of motion of the knee and thigh strength due to traumatic injury. This is improving. He is currently in a silicone locking suspension system with a Echelon hydrualic ankle/foot mechanism. He is a very good ambulator and a heavy equipment operator. He also would like to keep his CDL license. He has attempted to get back into the semi, but has difficulty in operating the throttle and brake due to the foot pedal positions and the room under the dash.

I have had left trans-tibial amputees get back into their trucks, but not any right. Is there any suggestions on what other right trans-tibial truck drivers have done with any special modifications to their trucks or special prosthesis.

Thank you all for any input you may have.
