--We use the fillauer 3S lock. In my experience they are durable,
super light weight and easy to laminate/thermoform. In 4 years, I have
only had one fail and that was secondary to excessively heavy use and
abuse.
The biggest patient complaint I hear is of an occasional clicking
noise. This typically happens when the patient is between two grooves of
the pin and will typically go away with a few steps.
Biggest error with use: if you cover this lock/lamination with a
custom foam cover and skin, you MUST punch several small holes at the
lock release area. Otherwise, each time the patient takes a step, air is
forced out of the leg and into the skin. The skin will then blow up like
a balloon.

--I have been using Fillauer traditional shuttles for years and have
had no
problems with them. They are simple, reliable and easy to fab.
As far as weight limit goes, that will be irrelavant in a 2 stage
lamination
as your 2nd stage will be bearing all the patient's weight. I am using
them
on people as heavy as 400 pounds with no issues.

--SPS / CASCADE '500' series for most, especially needing offsetting
of
adapter or Fillauer 'one shot' locks for straight on alignments.

--If doing a two stage lam, the fillauer one I like the best because it
is the easiest to construct a leg with a varied alignment, and thus the
need for a two stage lam.

--Only using Air Locks from Coyote I think it works the best and if
you
set it up right no air leaks
