Hello All,

I'm currently working with a an bilateral (rt Trans-Tibial, lt
Trans-femoral) individual resulting from severe burns from the waist
down. There is extensive grafting from the waist down including both
extremities and the gluteal region including the ischial area on the
trans-femoral side. The Trans-femoral amputation is not ready for
fitting yet, but the Trans-tibial is. This individual has been in
hospital 6+months and the plan now is to provide a prosthesis for the
Trans-tibial residuum and ease him in to a vertical/weight bearing
position through the use of a tilt table.

While I have had great success fitting other individuals with severe
grafting using custom urethane liners and elevated vacuum suspension I'm
wondering what others who have patients in similar situations have used
and with what degree of success. Please let me know what has worked for
you in the past. Thank you in advance.

Cheers,
