Anyone ever think about billing for what a brace might control, not just for
what it covers? For example, how about billing for recurvatum control at the
knee that would be effected by the appropriate AFO? How about billing hip -
knee rotational control by the way an AFO may be designed ? We all know
there are components and trimlines of various designs that will effect
joints and posturing up above. Can we bill for this postural control or
even for back pain relief if we are providing an AFO or some other lower
extremity orthosis that may very likely effect, control, relieve more
proximal problems?

Thanks,

Andrew
