I am interested in hearing from prosthetists who have fit trans-
tibial Ertl procedure amputees ...
1) How many true (non-hardware) Ertl's have you worked with?

of these true Ertl's were: More successful________ Equally

3) How many modified Ertl's (with hardware) have you fit?

4) Compared to a traditional Burgess amputation, what percentage
of these modified Ertl's were: More successful________ Equally

5) If you were faced with a trans-tibial amputation, would you
elect: Standard Burgess technique______ a true Ertl
procedure______ modfiied Ertl_______
6) For an average 19 (48cm) lower limb length, what length
residual limb would you prefer? ________
