I have a Bi-lateral AK 61 diabetic, he was a unilateral for 6 yrs and
did well as a community ambulator, he has good range of motion and is
very motivated to get back to where he was before ( a community
ambulator, K-3) He is medicare & ins. I have C-legs on Medicare
patients before who I felt had the potential to do well as a K-3, but
not a bi lateral, I heard Bi Laterals are exempt from standard
evaluation methods such as the AMP Mobility Predictor as they can not
pass that eval w/o prosthetics on and his old unilateral won't even go
on. Any thoughts on justification would be appreiciated.
I really feel like this guy would do well with The Compact (C-Legs)
Thanks
