My question is about Medicare crossover claims to tenncare or medicaid. In Tennessee, the EOB's are being returned paid with no value and a 0656 EOB code that reads Medicare payment exceeds medicaid maximum allowable.
So here is the question, is Tennessee the only state that is doing this or are other states considering Medicare payment as payment in full.
If the above is true, why are we focusing on facility accrediation, licensure, and surety bonds. If our organizations want the money from our pocket maybe they should help put some money in our pockets.
Sincerely,
Jerry Hinton LPO
