If any body has experience with runners and can help we would appreciate your advice.

We have been working with a post traumatic BKA with a good mid length residual limb who is trying to return to running marathons.

He is currently using a Seal In suspension system with an ESP expulsion valve. We have also tried a shuttle lock and pin suspension.

There are ony two things holding him back from compleating with competative times.

Number one is limited flexion and number two is that his residual limb sweats and then the silicone liner begins to slip.

We have tried adding a cuff strap at his request and it helps with suspension but he finds it a bit restricting.

If any one has any suggestions as to how to overcome these problems or alternate suspension systems we and he would greatly appreciate the help.

Thanks!
