Hello all,
First of all, thank you to everyone that has responded in a positive manner to my inquiry. To the others that persist on clouding my questions with more questions,I thank you as well. All points of view are welcome.
The concensus is to use exo varieties or knee joints for a hip. Though these are all excellent choices,I am afraid that the situation requires a more adaptable result. I could list the problems with each common design ,but that would be redundant. I believe this will require some experimenting with old components and maybe even a custom CNC hip joint. Costly, yes. I believe that everyone deserves the right to have a prosthesis despite the limited resources of a small profession. Thank you again to everyone that responded. The listserve has been and will continue to be a most valuable resource.
