Hi All,

I have two questions:

1. What is your experience with billing for repairs on prostheses and orthoses?

     a. Do you get reimbursed?

     b. What codes are you billing?

     c. How are you billing for repairs?

     d. Do you bill Medicare differently from private insurance or medicaid?

2. Is anyone having problems getting paid by BCBS on diabetic custom inserts?

Recently, our branch is getting denials on ALL BCBS custom Diabetic inserts. BCBS is paying for DM shoes, but not for the inserts. We were told by BCBS to bill the inserts a certain way and we are still getting denials. Can anyone shed some light on this situation? Is anyone else having a problem getting paid on custom diabetic inserts by BCBS? Solutions or suggestions are most welcome.

Thanks for your attention and feedback.
