I have been using beeswax for UE cable lubrication and while it initially does a fine job the slick operation of the cable does not last in heavy duty applications. My clientele then resort to 3-in-1 oil or a graphite lube which is messy and not desirable as it stains clothing. These clients in particular are outdoorsmen and need a heavy duty cable and housing for strength and durability. After the beeswax is gone the excursion becomes more difficult due to the friction. Cable routing is not a factor in this question.
Is there any product that I am unaware of that is better than beeswax for initial cable lubrication or a product that can be applied after the cable is assembled and in use.
Thanks in advance and I will post any helpful responses.
