What is the strongest type of metric hex screw made that we use in prosthetics that I can use on my patient's prosthesis? Pt is about 6'4 300 lbs transtibial (very long so his foot is very inset & has to use an offset adapter). He loves his current prosthesis but just recently sheared the screws (there was surface rust on the proximal portion of the screw, none where loctite was added) when he was walking on the treadmill. Or if there is any suggestions of what can be used on his current prosthesis. Thanks!
