Hello everyone,
We have pediatric ortho doc that likes to start his kids off in SA AFO's
and then have them articulate about a month later. We've been using
pediatric Tamarack joints and a PF stop, leaving them solid then
cutting, articulating, and finishing them while the patient waits. This
can be a time consuming process, as I don't have a tech in my office. In
the past I've had them finished as articulated and then added a DF
control strap which could be removed later. This has worked well but can
be bulky. Has anyone had success using a different method? Maybe
another style PF stop that can be added which would keep the AFO solid?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Chris
