Hello List,
I've been reading reports from University of Monash and Sweden about using silicone liners post-operatively to control stump volume, protect the wound and permit earlier mobilization. Is there anyone who uses this technique and what are the benefits / caveats? How do you deal with bulbous stumps? Any issues with dressings being driven into the wound from the compression of the liner?
Thanks,
Markus Säufferer, C.P.(c)
