Dear list,
I have a 70 year old patient with tricompartmental degenerative joint
disease. Patellofemoral joint space narrowing, extensive osteophytic
spurring in patellofemoral joint, and a moderate degree of spurring in the
lateral compartment. She has a normal shaped leg, she does not want
something bulky.
In your experience, what has been the best option for this patient profile?
Something with a low profile like the Unloader One would be ideal, but with
a single joint is that going to be enough control ? Your input is greatly
appreciated.
