Looking for any help and experiences other practitioners have had in making an ischial WB prothesis for a fairly new TT amp to initiate weight bearing and bipedal ambulation. Pt was casted for prep but fell day scheduled for test socket and had 15 staples to reclose the suture. PT wants to get him on two feet. Looking for any supportive documentation that I can approach the prescribing Doc with as well as what style of componetry other practitioners have used. Have used locking knee in the past, has anyone been successful in articulating the knee component? Any suggestions would be great. Insurance coverage/codes??????
