Hi Everyone,
I have noticed sometimes in carbon fibre feet that at toe off, the
prosthetic foot will have a little flick, or to be more descriptive, a
small, quick external rotation of the foot from late toe off and into
swing phase. Have you seen this much? I am not sure if this is an
alignment issue or an amputee thing (tibial torsion, hip motion/
weakness...) Of note, I haven't really noticed this action in feet like,
say, an Otto Bock 1D10, or those with a non-carbon fibre (less dynamic)
foot.
Any thoughts?
Kristin
