I don't get the suspension of the pelite liner being as effective as a gel
liner in the article that appeared in the July Almanac The Best of Both
Liners. Is the bulbous end being used as the suspension? Is the Pelite
liner built up along the same lines as the PTS Modification? A stump sock
is still being used. Where is the suction effect of the fit ? And what is
the material in the picture on the prosthesis that looks like a suspension
sleeve not pulled up?

I like the idea of fitting a pin into a Pelite liner and playing around with
parts. I do that sort of stuff all the time. But what am I missing here ?
Where is the real suspension coming from ? Wearing a sock in a pelite liner
with the addition of a pin ? I don't get it.

Thanks,
