Dear List,
The Atlantic coast of Nicaragua has no P&O services and all persons in need have to travel to the cities on the Pacific coast. The cities on the Atlantic coast are mostly not connected by road with each other.
The idea of a barge or ship installed as a P-O workshop came up. This floating workshop could stay 6 weeks in each coastal city to provide P-O services.
I recall that something like this has been done in the past but could not find anything on the internet.
I call upon you to provide me with any information that could be of use to pursue or reject the idea.
Anything is welcome. Ideas, recommendations, links to past or present projects, factual or imaginary projects, workshop lay-out, type of vessel etc.etc.
Yes, fishing rods will be standard equipment.
Many thanks for your foreseen input.
Regards,
