I am going to try the Kiss but here are some of the responses

I have had success with the Kiss lanyard system without the distal Puck.
Just made a slot in the socket for the lanyard to go through.

Have you tried the Ossur Transfemoral seal-in liner for a KD?  I've used
that successfully.

Yoou could try the KISS system or Coyote's Summit Lock with 0 clearances

 Hey Forest,

I am going to suggest a different type suspension and I am doing it not
knowing the age, weight, or how long your pt has been an amputee, but I
am fitting a mid 20's to mid 30's male about 150lbs-170lbs with an
elevated vacuum socket.  The socket brim goes no higher than mid thigh.
I am using a custom liner from evolution liners
(www.evolutionliners.com). The liner allows me to shape the socket more
stove pipe so pt can easily don and doff.  Once the liner is on, the
pt dons the socket, then rolls the outer sleeve up and onto the liner to
create the seal.  He then uses a hand pump to pull air out and elevate
the vacuum to the level he wants.  An outer lamination (called an
overcover) protects the sleeve from getting pinched or poked when pt
sits down.  This eliminates the brim in the groin and eliminates the
need for a pin/lock so gives you more room distally to work with.  As
far as a lock I have found that they are all around an inch to inch and
a half.  I have also used the KISS system (www.kiss-suspension.com) that
incorporates a double lanyard system (proximal and distal) that locks
in well and prevents rotation at the same time.  The plate used for the
exit of the lanyard is only about an inch thick made of Delrin.
Hope this helps,

I hope this helps. The minimum clearance you need will be a 1/2. You can get
this by a distal build up. We use a  piece of crepe nailed to the distal end
this crepe is heat molded to the socket and will be used for a lamination
spacer. This will create the void needed for the nipple and strap .I am sure this
is the lowest option you can provide.Give me a call and I can talk you through
it.

If the condyles are not prominent, no distal bulge, we have had success with
the Seal-In liners, both normal and multi-seal.

Have you looked at the KISS system, using the velcro straps and all.  I have
used the OWW lanyard, and I don't like it that much, and also the Ossur one,
and liked it even less.  The KISS system is really a great option, I have
found, and doesn't take up any more room than basically any other distal
attachment piece, and is easy to fabricate and all.
