Hi everyone;

I was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice.

I'm a veteran, and amputee; I was a computer programmer for a few years, but
after discovering I hated being stuck in a cubicle, I decided I wanted to
help people, and prosthetics seemed like a perfect fit.

I've received a high quality education from California State University. I
had a residency lined up with the VA hospital in Seattle, where I had been a
patient, but after a miscommunication where he thought I was graduating next
June rather than this one, I suddenly found myself without a residency.

I've been checking NCOPE, calling a variety of VA hospitals, doing targeted
searches from the ABC list, checking classifieds, and no luck. Everyone I
call either already has a resident or doesn't have room for one.

Does anyone have any suggestions how I might find a residency out there? Or
know someone who might have a residency position open?

Thanks in advance!
