Hi Ben,
As the scanner supplier to Biosculptor I can tell you that they are one of
many that have had great success with our scanner. Hanger has installed it
in most of their clinics, Vorum in Vancouver sells it, Rodin4d in France
sells it as does Boston Brace.
The package you would require for volume measurements is called Delta. A
trial version of this may be downloaded from our website for your review.
www.polhemus.com However for complete support with your O&P efforts, I would
recommend any of the above companies.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Good luck in your quest!

Original Post
Hi all Listservers
I am looking for a mobile scanner that will measure shape and volume of
knees.
We would like to conduct a clinical trial and need to measure knee volume.
We would like to measure sports injured knees and need to calculate volume
changes in the knee quickly and with a high degree of accuracy. Ideally like
scanning for cad-cam we need to capture the knee segment at 6 above and
below patella and measure the volume.
I have briefly looked at the BioSculptur and Omega Tracer. Are there any
others you have used or could recommend?
Thankyou
Ben
