I have a woman in her forties who has MS. She has left sided weakness
with significant lower extremity weakness. She is currently wearing a
KAFO with drop locks but does not use the locks for ambulation but
uses them when standing for a prolonged period. I believe she would be
a good candidate for a Stance control type orthosis. I have not used
one since the early days of their development and would like some input
from those who have as to what might be the best type to use for this
patient. She is very motivated has function of the left hand however
has no sensation from thigh to toes.
