On behalf of ODU, College of Health Sciences, School of PT -we would like to
extend this invitation to attend a unique educational experience titled
Improving Functional Outcomes for Amputees: A Collaborative Approach - it
is scheduled for April 11-12, 2008 in Norfolk, VA. The two day
workshop/conference offers an opportunity to learn more about contemporary
professional practice and clinical care of amputees using a collaborative
practice approach.
Highlights include:
* Best Practices in the rehabilitation of amputee patients
* Breakout sessions featuring multidisciplinary teams and patient
cases
* World-class speakers presenting the latest information on topics
training from surgery, prosthetic selections, rehabilitation and case
management including :
o Robert Gailey, PT, PhD
o Paul Pasquina, MD, LTC
