Any thoughts?
  Patient is a 18 yo, 5'3 150# female. 2 year history of right femoral mononeuropathy. Was very active with sports until Dx. Studying to be surgical scrub technician.

  ROM = WNL
  MMT 1+/5 knee extension, all others 5/5
  Saphenous nerve distribution numbness. mostly medial calf.
  gait appears near normal.
  Frequent, daily falls, is patients main challege.

  We would like to brace as minimal as possible. Allowing her to work in OR environment. Trying not to cross the ankle with any kind of weight activated stance control. Would like something that would allow her more fluid motion then the pendulum style mechanical locks.
  Are there any available microprocessor control orthotic knee joints?
  Other suggestions appreciated.
  Thanks for your replys
