Hello List Members,

Like most of you I have spent most of my life working in the shop and one of
our handiest tools is the utility knife. The problem has always been that you
have to be careful with these if you happen to be cutting and pry with them
a little bit, the tip or even the middle of the blade snaps. If you are
wearing your safety glasses, (like we have always been taught!) then you might get
a ding from the broken piece flying off the blade. Well here is a Christmas
goodie that you might like in your stocking. The Irwin Unbreakable
bi-metalic utility blade. These are tough blades and will bend rather than break, I
imagine if you were to clamp it up and flex it a lot it might break, but these
have been really nice in my shop and even though a bit more expensive, really
worth it. They also seem to stay a bit sharper as well. I get mine at Lowes
5 for $1.98. You can buy more at a time if you need to.

I don't have anything to do with the sales of these, just thought if you
haven't heard of them before, it would be a thing to have and keep your tech
crew a bit safer.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
