Dear Colleagues,
To raise funds for the Orthotic and Prosthetic Virtual Library(www.oandplibrary.org) I'm having a bake sell. I'm offering two dozen homemade cookies mailed to you via priority mail for a reasonable tax deductible donation to the Virtual Library. They will be baked, cooled, place in airtight containers and mailed to you promptly. I can bake chocolate chip, peanut butter, ranger cookies (great but difficult to describe), as well as other recipes. I'm working on several projects that will be housed in the digital library, which are in dire need of funds. Over a four year period, I have collected 16mm film, 35mm slides, and unpublished studies and interviews that comprise the forgotten prosthetic history of the Vietnam War. I want to present this information to the O&P community and place this collection in a special section of the O&P library. The library needs your support to make it happen. Digitizing and editing film is expensive, so I'm baking cookies in an
attempt to make this recovered information available to all.
I would also like to invite you to take a look at the Digital Library's recently completed Artificial Limbs: A Review of Current Developments. The O&P Digital library continues to grow. Next year promises some exciting additions to the library but we need your support. Donations can be handled right on the library's website:

So astound me with the reasonableness of your donation and I'll send you some homemade cookies.

You may certainly contact me if you wish further clarification of the bake sale offer.
Best regards,
Charles King, CP
