We are hosting a skydiving event for amputees in Houston TX and I'm in
need of some feedback. We expect to have up to 30 amputees ranging in
age from early 20's to 89; we have found that our older, more sedentary
patients have really taken on to the thought of skydiving as an example
to prove to others that life is not over after amputation.
Does anyone have any advice on special instructions to be given to these
amputee skydivers? (These will be tandem) Should they jump with their
limb on or off? Any other advice or words of wisdom from those with
experience? Thanks in advance.
