Hello forum!
I have a fairly difficult patient to fit right now and need some advice. Patient is a 60year old female with relatively poor dexterity in her hands. Her limb is only 5 long and mid 20's circumference top to bottom in one inch increments. The problem is the off the shelf locking liner is too hard for her to don and she doesn't want any straps or pelvic joints of any kind. I thought about making a custom liner back in the old days using the fillaur silicone but that doesn't offer much stretch and may not stay on. She is on dialysis and varies as much as 8 ply's day to day. I am currently using the newer Alpha liner as it was the largest I can find, does anyone know of anything else I can use?
