Dear O&P,

I am a student design engineer working on a placement for the Bath Institute of Medical Engineering charity (UK). I have an interest in prosthetics and am trying to establish what peoples' views are on the current situation regarding user adjustable heel devices.

Please take a moment to consider the following questions and any feedback you could give me in response would be greatly received.

Do you believe there is an existing patient need for an alternative modular heel height device?
What features do you think users/clinicians require from such a component?
Would you prescribe it if there was one available that met the users/your demands?
What sort of price band would you consider appropriate? £100-250, £250-400, £400-550, >£550 (1US$~0.49GB£)

Many thanks,
