coding question

Distinguished colleges,
We were having one of those seemingly never ending coding debates/conversations and are looking for input from the experts on the list to help solve the conundrum of what is and is not appropriate coding for a specific orthosis. Though Townsend has assembled a list of codes associated with each specific orthotic design, these apparently are internally generated and have not necessarily received the blessing of the AOPA coding committee. The coding list also comes with all the expected disclaimers, as do most all the possible potential suggested coding guidelines out there. I like Townsend and I use Townsend, thus the specificity of the question.
What would you consider the appropriate coding for an OTS Rebel Reliever?
I have the code listing from Townsend. I know what I am comfortable with. I had a somewhat passionate defense of other code combinations presented to me. I also had a very good/frank discussion with someone at Townsend about their take on the code list they have put out for the OTS Rebel Reliever.
Any responses will be greatly appreciated...
I will post responses...names excluded as requested...
Thanks in advance,
Mike Madden, CPO
