Got some more responses, and a few asking to post them
Summary on Diabetic sock choice - Thanks to those who responded

Ben

I have always understood that natural fibers such as wool or cotton hold
moisture in the fiber and that it is undesirable to have a wet sock next
to
the skin which is why cool max and other synthetic fibers are more
desirable to use. It also keeps the skin warmer which may help increase
circulation in the foot. I don't know much about the silver thread fibers
used in socks. Good luck sorting any responses you receive.

Hi Ben, one of the socks we've had good success with is made of Merino
wool. It seems to wick axay the moisture well and prevents dry, chapped
foot skin. Please post your responses. Thank you .

We have the knit-rite x-static seamless diabetic socks in stock. We sell a
lot of them and they are great and our patients love them. We are the
Australian distributors for them so if you need any more info let me know.
