Are there any orthotists who are using FES units as a replacement for AFOs in their daily clinical practice? Realizing that patients need to be properly assessed and trained to use the FES units.
I have some clinical areas that are very interested but have many questions regarding the protection of other joints, fatiguing issues and correlating this system into hybrid orthotic designs.
If you would respond back, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
