Hello,

I have a patient that has experienced what appears to be an area of folliculitis about 1.5 inches in diameter on his limb. It is in an area of musculature that is not prone to excessive pressure and has good contact. He wears an alpha liner, with a liner-liner sock under it. The hair follicles get dark around the hair, and raised, and occasionally develop like a pimple with pus, then pop.

If you have seen this, what has been the causes?

I am going to recommend that he see a dermatologist, but want to rule out anything I can change that may be contributing to this.

Thanks

Nathan Keepers, CPO
