I have a close relative who has recently moved to Alphretta, Georgia and is in need of UCB-ST orthoses (as presented in the Oregon Orthotic System Seminars during the late 80's). Seeking a CO or CPO in the Alphretta, Georgia area (50 mile radius) who has expertise and uses pathomechanical de-rotational technique in daily practice. Patient is 7 years old with bilateral IRD's, the left approx. 16+ degrees and the right approx. 12+ degrees. He is flexible and correctable. Currently wearing custom (flexible) plantar supports which are completely ineffective. I am convinced that de-rotational technique applied now will result in correction to neutral followed by anatomical bone modeling. Parents are prepared for all associated protocols of treatment/follow-up and are quite serious in securing the best appropriate treatment.
