Nice memo Marty, it would be good to remind all those folks out there
currently practicing that they would be grandfathered if the law passed and
as a result of the new law no new persons would become licensed to practice
until they completed the new standards. That would elevate most of the
people who currently oppose the bill to a higher status, since most of the
people out there practicing don't currently meet the new standards.

Passage of the law also will limit competition in the future to only those
who meet the new standard. It would stop those opportunistic non trained
persons from just hanging out a shingle without credentials. It would limit
competition and protect the public at the same time, Just a thought, but a
good selling point.
