Saturday, May 5 will be the kick off of the OPAF First Clinics for 2007. We
begin with a First Volley Clinic sponsored by the Shriners Hospital in
Philadelphia for their O & P patients at the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis
Center. On Friday, May 11, OPAF will host three First clinics in
Wilmington, NC..First Volley, First Swing and introducing First Ride,
adaptive cycling, with Wilmington's own long distance amputee cyclist, Dan
Sheret. Saturday, May 19 we will return to our home base of Bucks County
Racquet Club in Washington Crossing, PA for a First Volley Tennis Clinic
open to all.
As May is National Tennis Month and our flagship program is First Volley,
adaptive tennis for ambulatory players, we are excited about the many First
opportunities that OPAF is presenting across the country for amputees and
those with physical challenges. To see the complete list of First clinics
for 2007, check the OPAF website at www.opfund.org. More information on
clinics and registration materials are available there. If you would like
information on hosting a First clinic for your patients and your community,
contact the OPAF office at 215-5756. We are continuing our mission of
Giving Wings to Dreams!
