Greetings!

We are very excited that the 2007 Face of America bike ride April 28th and
29th is coming up soon- less than 10 days away weeks I would like to extend
an invitation to all of those in the O and P industry that are within the
published route to come out and support the riders. The route can be found
at www.worldteamsports.org < <URL Redacted>> .

Robert Emerson CP from Lifestyle P&0 of North Andover MA will be
volunteering his services to support the amputee cyclists.

Dan Sheret Long distance Amputee cyclist will help lead the ride and act as
press spokesperson . Here are a few of the details,

* To date, we have over 50 severely injured servicemen and some family
members signed up to ride with us this year.
* We will be signing up and including even more severely injured
servicemen as we still have another outreach program at Walter Reed on Weds
April 11th
* The Commandant of the Marines, General Conway (Four-star), will be
at our opening of the ride on Saturday morning April 28th in Gettysburg and
the Assistant Commandant of the Marines, General Marcus (Three-star), will
be at our closing ceremonies at the National Naval Medical Centre on Sunday
afternoon April 29th
* Former National Naval Medical Center C.O. and the 35th Surgeon
General of the Navy, Admiral Arthur (three-star), will be volunteering on
our Moto TEAM
* Currently 175 riders committed to participate- should end up being
over 200 riders - close to double the number of riders from last year yet
still maintaining intimate TEAM experience
* A writer from the Washington Post, Jackie Spinner, will be an
embedded rider for the weekend
* We have over 75 volunteers signed up to date
* We will also be donating at last 1 Ibot wheelchair to a severely
injured serviceman at the conclusion of the ride. The Ibot (
www.ibotnow.com) was designed by Dean Kamen , who also designed the Segway.
The Ibot is a highly innovative wheelchair that allows for far greater
independence. Costs over $25K. The VA and the Government have yet to buy
any for the severely injured servicemen. We will be donating one to Bryan
Andersen who rode with us last year
* We are flying severely injured servicemen in from all over the
country, including a group from Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio
and discharged severely injured servicemen from various places across the
country.

Please come out and support these young American Heroes.
