Text:
Oregon's parity bill passed the house sub-committee on health care access
with a unanimous vote today. It will be heard by the full committee on Fri.
then move on to the whole house. In Oregon you are not allowed to amend a bill
from the floor so all looks good to pass the house by the end of the month. If
nothing bad happens this bill is on track to becoming law this year.
A special thanks to Todd Nelson who took the afternoon off to attend the
hearing and represent OOPA. And of course an ovation for Dr. Bradley without
whom this would not be happening.
