Would appreciate it if list members could share their experiences fabricating
light weight
AK prostheses (no stubbies) for highly motivated Bilateral AK, female, 72,
good limb length,
descent upper limb strength, weights about 90 pounds.
Interested in socket designs for ease of donning and doffing, types of light
weight componentry
available (knees, feet, etc.). Cosmesis is also important.
Goal - limited household and community ambulation.
Thanks in advance for you input.
