Hernan,
I wanted to take a minute to respond to your request. I am assuming that when you say you think it rediculous to have to pay, you mean paying the small fee that OPGA charges for the fee schedules and billing worksheets.
We have offered these documents to O&P companies for the past 5 years and each year we get one or two practitioners that have the same opinion as you. It's the other 200 or so people that order them and realize that their time to find the schedules on line, download them, put them in a useable format, take out all the DME/HME and Rehab codes, include all the new codes, take out the deleted O&P codes, insert the long descriptions (which are usually not included), and then format billing worksheets for all the different types of orthoses and prostheses that can be used when billing out a device, they find that the many hours (and sometimes days) they save well worth the minimal cost to purchase. In essence, you are asking that someone out there do this for you...for free. Just to let you know, it took me 3 full days to do this for all 50 states.
Perhaps before you make a judgement, you should see what you are judging. If you or anyone else is interested, I would love to send you a sample of these worksheets.

Jim Andreassen

Dear List Members:
If anyone is interested in compiling the Medicare Fee Schedules for 2007,
please let me know. I find it rediculous to have to pay someone for them when
they are readily available on-line in various formats and can easily adjusted
to fit anyones needs.
Thanks
