Hello Everyone:
I am writing because I am a client with spastic
dipegic cerebral palsy. I wear bilateral dynamic AFOs.
I have recently started conductive Education and the
therapist wants me in high top orthopedic shoes rather
than my braces all of the time. She wanted PIEDRO
Boots, but there are very few in my size and the North
American Distributor has been very hard to deal with,
as they do not answer phone calls or e-mails.
Also not many shoes come in my size- 10 1/2 inches in
length and 9 inches foot circumference.
 I would rather give my $200 or more to someone who is
more responsive. Any ideas? Not sure if I want shoes
to fit my braces, or shoes to just fit my own feet, or
both. I have a leg length discrepancy, varus
deformities of my feet, plantar fasciitis.

The therapist wants me to stop wearing AFOs, but I
would rather have one pair of shoes to fit my own
feet, and one to fit my braces.
THE AFOs are comfy now, after 3 trips to a city 2
hours away.
Would like 2 pairs of shoes.
Any advice?
Thank you for your help.
Jennifer

Don't Quit.

Don't quit when the tide is lowest,
For it's just about to turn;
Don't Quit over doubts and questions,
For there's something you may learn.
Don't quit when the night is darkest,
For it's just a while 'til dawn;
Don't quit when you've run the farthest,
For the race is almost won.
Don't quit when the hill is steepest,
For your goal is almost nigh;
Don't quit, for you're not a failure
Until you fail to try.
